fathers4equality Australia
Most of these men and women are not happy with the idea of entering the political arena. They would prefer to just make homes and raise their children in peace, as tax-paying law-abiding citizens.
They have been denied that basic right by the prejudice they've encountered.
What they have encountered in the courts, legal system, and social system is simply a brutal prejudice. This prejudice has become a painful motivation. They watch as the system destroys families and the future of their country. They are disgusted at the lessons the current system teaches their children; and refuse to accept those lessons for themselves, their children, or the future of Australia.
These people stand together in growing numbers across Australia, supported by hundreds of thousands around the world, in the effort to eliminate the gender bias in the law and society.
It's surprising to many to learn that the membership of fathers4equality is over 30% women. Even more surprising to many, is to learn that many of those women consider themselves Feminists -- professional women, usually -- according to their posts to the forum.
Their resolve is simple: They are doing it for their children. They cannot back away. They are reminded of the need to accomplish their goals every day, just by thinking of their children.
I am humbled and honoured to be able to help these good people.
Paul Donley
