Right-wing: And the value of citizens diminishes

Australians should read this list and compare it with what's happening here.

The civil and human rights of all people are being curtailed and removed. More and more, governments rule by evoking fear: fear of other countries; fear of "other" citizens; fear of rising prices or interest rates.
This is not just a right-wing political method, of course, but the Right -- in any society -- takes to it that easily.

For government to rule effectively, for the people, it must rule by a mix of fear and hope.
In Australia, there is less hope every day. There is less freedom, day by day.

Australia follows America like a hoola hoop follows the hips. If America gets the sniffles, Australia has pneumonia for years.
